Why does the Balmoral Fund exist?

Balmoral’s purpose is investing capital – which means finding and securing the best assets for the family and friends who have partnered with us.

There is a purity and freedom in that simple focus quite distinct from the complexities which can be found in large organisations.

The key belief at the heart of the Balmoral Fund is great commercial assets are scarce and owning them over time is the surest path to compound invested capital.

More generally the Balmoral Fund is a highly active, cycle aware international shares portfolio which can utilise risk management tools to protect and grow invested capital depending on market conditions.

Balmoral was set up to share its knowledge, and the outcomes of the company’s investment program, with friends and family.

The Fund’s founding investors are family and Australian Army Officers and Veterans.
